No, that wouldn't be right because you don't want to hurt him, so just tell him that you think he's an awesome friend, but you don't want to hurt him because the truth is that you don't like him as more than a friend. Jesus loves you.

Do what feels right, try hanging out with him for a while and see what happens, maybe you will like him soon or not. Worth a try.

I think what you mean is you don't want to have sex with him? I think if he really likes you, he should respect your values. tell him up front you don't want to do it though. guys sort of expect it to happen automatically.
