Maybe your neighbor didn't hear you... or she just received bad news and is wrapped up in herself at the moment. She could be having a bad day and in her mind when you said "Good Morning"... she may have been saying "What's so good about it".... the best thing to do is get all the facts first, don't jump to conclusions because it well start you off on a viscious cycle of negative thinking, blaming and possibly ill feelings toward your neighbor. When you get a moment go next door and ask her if everything is okay... if that doesn't start her eger response and explanation for her behavior... come right out and ask if she might be upset with you for something and if there is anything you can do to help her.... if there is something there under the surface it will come out eventually. :)... The important thing to consider is all the other explanations the positive ones for why she may not have returned your greating before you entertain the negative ones, the ones that cause you to become upset or angry. I hope all turns out well between you too.

I used to live on a street with several neighbors like that. I noticed that if I waved first they would make a half hearted wave back. But if I simply looked at them they would look right back without even a smile. I finally got the point and just ignored them. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt for a few times. After that it is time to move on. There are too many nice people in the world to waste time with the bad ones.

Some people are that way. You shouldn't worry about it or take it too personal. Maybe she was just having a bad day or had a lot on her mind, or maybe it's just her personality.

What matters, is you said hi and you were just trying to be friendly to her.

First let me give you a great big hello. Your neighbor was probably preoccupied with something, in a big hurry, or just didn't see you. That's happened to me. The next time you see her, wave and say hi, and I bet she says hi to you.

Sounds like something is up. You know she heard you-right. So, she went out of her way to ignore you. The next time you see her out in the yard or whatever try to say "hi" again and if she does the same thing just ask he if you did something to offend her.

Now....how in the world would we know why your neighbor did not say Hi to you???? Probably because you are stupid. Perhaps someone in her family died. And, since this is a free country with freedom of speech......she also has a right to not speak. You need to get a life.....DUH!!!!

I know that can be so annoying. I still give my welcoming smile and I'm always polite to people around me. The ones who don't smile back or acknowledge me in some way, I completely ignore the next time. I don't waste my time or energy on rude individuals.

Maybe she's having a bad day. Don't take it personally. Just say hi to her again next time and maybe she'll be in a better mood.

Maybe she didn't hear you, or was in her own little world, it's happened to me a few times before, I'd say hi to someone and I even say I said hi to you, and they say, I said hi, so see sometimes we make assumptions when we shouldn't, don't take it too serious, you'll see her again.
