Interesting thing about these ads is that the are in no way new for VW and really reflect their classic ads of the sixties. Back then they showed a pictures of a wrecked beetle and used it to make a point that it wouldn't cost you a ton to fix a small wreck, of course now it's to point out safety as I'm sure there not cheap to fix. No they are the only good thing vw makes.
They remind us all how quickly a good time or ordinary drive can go bad.

No they don't bother me, but I am glad that auto manufactures are concerned enough about our safety to crash many, many cars in testing for our sake.

I like them, they should do more. I like the fact that they show the the car wont fall apart when it gets hit. Unlike Japanese imports that the bumpers fall off or the hood crinkles up when there hit.
