Because people are dumb, foolish, and don't understand that Christianity is a hoax.

I think you are not being rude. Don't Worry, I can sure you.
I will try to give you a more serious and impartial answer and not just a light one.
I always asked that by myself.
But I think God is just what we can't be, just that.
For me, religion is just an invention of the human being, Why you see many of these all over the Wolrd?
The Bilble or another book? Is just like many books, I think the editors can edit it as they want and you don't know if it is true or not.
You know that in same countries gobermment is behind the TV channels just to check if news that they broadcast are good for public o not or good for they. They dicide if it is advisable or not.

I am not christian, catholic nor atheistic, but I can’t deny that there is somebody that way that maybe can see, heard or be everything in our lifes.

I believe in miracles I can be sure that they exist, is God whose is doing that? Is it someone else out of this world? Or perhaps our conscience that is being represented like God that allows us that we lean in.

I cannot assure it because what I say or what somebody else says is not the “abosolute” I talk about the TRUTH

I hope you can understand I’m just a another simply human in this inmense place that has responded your question hoping can help you in something

I believe because when I think about God, I feel a rush of happiness that cannot be described. It is to me a personal connection. I have never felt a strong connection through a church. As for your beliefs, I can understand where you come from. If someone rang your doorbell and handed a book to you, told you to read it, follow it, or you will be punished, you would probably slam the door in the person's face. As for the whole heaven and hell thing, no one on this earth has the right to judge you. Some people will always have a hard time accepting the word of the Bible.

For many there is a comfort in thinking that someone will look after you no matter what. Even if it's an imaginary friend.

Children will often have imaginary friends and discard them as adults. The problem is they have only discarded one imaginary friend for another.

If this was all the further it went it would be harmless to society as a whole (could harm the person believing pray is going to save them). However, no good scam goes very far without some assistance. Enter the clergy bringing out bad guys that must be killed and thoughts that must be controlled.

The fact that you even thought about God enought to post is a great sign that I think you believe even a "little". I don't know whether or not you were raised going to church or if you had a negative experience in life that turned you away from Him. I think that you would truly benefit from talking with a pastor from a church in your area. Ask the questions that cause you to not believe.
PS.....what would you do if you were wrong and that God does exist but because you denied HIM you had to spend eternity in HELL where you are tortured. Read the book 23 Minutes in Hell and your mind might change. Good luck to you and God Bless you.

Personally, I was at the lowest, darkest time of my life. I had "hit bottom," as the saying goes. And when I was finally out of ideas and contingency plans, when I didn't know what to do or where to go from there, someone told me that God loved me and would help me if I asked. I was skeptical but they insisted that if I was only willing to believe that they believed and that their belief worked for them that would be enough to start.

Over a period of several months I saw how much better his life was than mine, and I came to a point where I was willing to believe that God would help me. From there all I had to do was ask God (even though I didn't really believe at the time but was willing to believe that it could happen), and my life started to change.

From that point 11 years ago, my life is a complete opposite of what it was. I have hope when I had none. I have a future when I had none. UI have my family back when they didn't want anything to do with me. And most importantly I have an answer that works in every situation. I understand your skepticism. I have been there myself and wondered the same thing you are wondering. So I offer you the same offer that was freely given to me - if you are simply willing to believe, that's enough for God to start showing you by rewarding you for your belief. I pray that your journey will be successful as you seek answers to the questions you have today & the questions that are yet to come.

You are not being rude, you are asking a very good question. Anyone who does not ask this question is a fool. The reason I believe in God is because at the age of 19 (many years ago) God made himself real to me. I can tell you from my experience that God deeply Loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you. Would you like to explore this possibility and test for yourself whether this is true or not? Please contact me if you do. I promise that I will not try to force or pressure you to do anything you do not want to do. Too many Christians already do that.

Everybody has not found an answer that how we have all come from. So one idea was that we are all effects and there should have been a cause. This cause is reresented as nature by some or God by somebody else. People who follow various religions feel that there have been messiah's in the form of Jesus, allah etc.,

I believe in God, because I tested the claims in the Bible. I took a step of faith, and all the rest fell into place. I now have a relationship with God, and have done for 37 years. As I look back over those years, I can see the hand that guided and planned, and as I have allowed Him to take control of my life, I see the wonderful outcomes of that.

I believe in God, because I have experienced Him working in my life. If you would like to know more to to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/seeking_reality

Ive always been curious about God since i was a child....i started reading as soon as i could....at first it was hard to understand....but as the years have gone by Ive understood more and more....a reference Bible has helped me tremendously...and a study Bible also....and no the Bible is not full of lies....did you read it for yourself...like several times.....its not something that you read just one time....you cant say this without knowing for yourself....you must find out for yourself instead of just saying these things....I have seen...felt....and been...where things have happened that you would not believe....there is a God.....there is a Jesus...and there is a Holy Spirit....and there is such a thing as miracles.....

Because everything in the world is given to us by God. I can see his hand in my life each day and the help he gives me. There are many miracles out there and it's rarely just a coincidence. It helps to have a purpose in life and God's plan of happiness gives us a purpose to this life. I personally find it very hard for others to believe God doesn't exist.
