Yes! People are always offering me their food, which gets more annoying each and every time! Are you underweight? For some reason people think I am underweight and "sick looking" but I think I'm fat but no one will believe me. If you are not underweight, then maybe the people you know are just nice and like to share food.

It's a social thing...someone is always bringing treats in at work to share....some who have an early class or no breaks between classes sneak into the main office to munch on snacks to get them through....good way to try things and see varieties you are missing out there!!!!!

Maybe they think you're too slim, or maybe they're a bit chubby and are jealous of you. Or, perhaps, they just like sharing.
People don't offer me food, and if they did I would never accept, it's like "Thank you, but I can buy my own food!".

Maybe they think you could do with a bit more meat on your bones or they could just be being polite by offering to share what they have instead of just stuffing their face's infront of you.

Offering food has been a human social trait for ages. It shows generosity and caring. Just polity say no, don't criticize their generosity.

Maybe to make them self feel justified in over eating. No not really. Maybe you give out "too poor to buy food signals,"

Are you skinny? I'm skinny, always have been, but people think I don't eat enough. They always offer me food, too. And if I'm hungry, I'll eat it.
