I am not talking about only one denomination or style of worship. I am speaking of accepting that we are all part of the Christian Community. Can we not accept that although we have our differences we are ONE in CHRIST? I truly hope and pray so.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

The only way that this could happen would be for all Protestants to realize that the origins of Protestantism itself were against the teachings of Christ himself!
I am not saying that all Protestants are bad. Most have no idea of the history of Christianity.
Oh, and by the way, I hear many people claim to be non-Protestant but not Catholic either, but still Christian. Sorry, but that really is impossible because the name "Protestantism" comes from "Protesting against the Catholic Church".
You have good intentions Debra! Keep up your Catholic Faith!

WOW, what an interesting question. That is like asking why did we split up in the first place. Most of it was politics not theology. Power system corrupt people. Christians who really have no Christ but are in power. I have seen it over and over in different church's. People get pumped up about themselves rather than Christ. I think the only way we will be able to say we are one is when we are in fact one. They only way for that to happen is a miracle.

those verses for sure talk to me of the deity of Christ. Any time I %. up a Bible i glance to Romans 9:5, if it does not talk of the diety of Christ then i comprehend it quite is not a genuine Bible. I word that Jesus's i'm sayings are often provided with a subjective completions yet there are 2 of them we are able to qualify as "i'm" utterances contained in certainly the sense, the two style & content textile, it quite is basic; John 8:fifty 8 & 13:19. those represent an show self identity with Yahweh who had already revealed Himself to adult males in comparable words in Isaiah 40 3:10-11. you have listed many renowned verses of mine on your question, thank you.

As we get closer to the end times, I believe that we will no longer to be able to afford the luxury of different denominations and that we will have to come together as the unified body of Christ.

Is is a nice thought. Those who are worshiping God "in spirit and truth" are one whith God. However, there are many who claim to follow Christ, but they are actually serving satan. (See Mat 7:21-24)

Diversity of beliefs prevent us from uniting on this earth because each one thinks that his or her particular set of beliefs is right and that all others are wrong.

Not as long as our stubbornness is in the way, unfortunately. Although I wish that would happen. But as Christians I am beginning to believe that we are each others worst enemies sometimes. It would be nice if we Christians could unite together as one.

Bottom line is this:

Eph 4. There is ONE DOCTRINE. ONE GOSPEL.

How can others come together? They have they're own man made doctrine.

God calls it false doctrines, false teachings. YES, it is wrong, contrary to popular belief. Read what God says about it. There is ONE DOCTRINE, not many doctrines.

ONE DOCTRINE means the same thing in any language in any country. This is not open for interpretation.

Yes, Very soon now, when the trump sounds and those of us, who believe in Christ and are washed in His Blood, both living and dead rise to meet Him in the air. 1 Thess. 4:14-18

I solemnly believe that we could come together as one...but accepting our differences will be hard. But if it is God's will that we should all be united someday. Then He will find a way to unite us.
God Bless =)
