could be a cold OR allergies..yes, you can get a cold in the summertime. The common cold is caused by a virus (rhinovirus) and while it seems this virus spreads more during the cold months (most likely due to people being cooped up indoors together all winter), the weather itself have no effect on when or where you will get the virus.

if your symptoms are limited to runny nose/watery eyes/itchy throat and have persisted for more than 5 days without a fever, I would guess that it was caused by allergies.

Yep - you can get a cold any time of the year. Generally, they are more common in the winter because a) the cold weather can lower your body's immune system and 2) in the winter people generally stay closed up indoors in close proximity to each other and germs can build up with lack of fresh air in the area.

uu can it happens to me every summer in winter i laugh at people with colds in summer they laugh at me
