My Norton anti virus just expired and there is always a pop up that I need to renew it ...others told me that no need to renew protection is still there but not updated..what will I do?

Do not renew Norton. It is some of the most overpriced crap in computers.

Go to www.grisoft.com for AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. if you are worried about viruses.

Uninstall Norton. Download AVG at www.grisoft.com. There's a free personal version.

Not updating your antivirus is just the same as not having any. Norton is bloatware now and AVG does a good job, and the price is right. If you would like to pay for it it is 38 dollars or so for 2 years of updates.

If it expired, meaning the amount of time you bought it for (usually a year) has passed, yes, you need to renew it. You are not being covered/protected.

While you have the protection, you are encouraged to periodically update it for the latest virus protections.

no do away with it and get avg grisoft from download.com it's realy good and dosent take up as much space as what norton does so your computer will run faster
