The old man of me died, the one that was completely self serving. Now that doesn't mean that I don't sometimes start to turn back into that person.

As Paul is explaining pretty clearly in the rest of the chapter, is to stop living for yourself, let the "old man" die and live for Christ.

A Christian has died a "spiritual death in Christ".

Every person is going to die twice. You die a physical death and a spiritual death. You die a spiritual death in Christ or in Hell.

You die a spiritual death through a spiritual baptism in Christ.

Good question

YES I BELIEVE
I AM CRUCFIED WITH CHRIST; NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME; AND THE LIFE WHICH
I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.
