Depends if they run your name and what database they run your name through. NCIC? MULES? ALERTS? NCIC is nationwide, MULES and ALERTS are Missouri and KCMO based only. So if you have a traffic warrant and there is no national extradition, then no. But if you are wanted for murder or whatever, and are entered in NCIC then possibly.

I would be so bold as to say that unless you are on the FBI's top 10 list, you will not be arrested at the airport. However, once you come back into the US and someone tells someone and so forth, authorities could find out. If you are stopped for a traffic violation, chances are a warrant will come up on a background check and you will be arrested.

If you think that you have a warrant, you very well could have one. If you have any doubts as to whether or not you might, you can call and check with the local authorities to see if you have a warrant, regardless of the class of warrant. The best bet, is to clear up whatever problem it is that you left behind (I'm assuming that you did).

Chances are, that if you have a "bench warrant" out on you, they most likely will not arrest you on sight. You will most likely be asked to sign a PTA, or Promise to Appear. Then again, if the warrant is a higher grade warrant, you may be arrested.

Again, clear up whatever problems you left behind. You can run from people, but you can't run from your conscience.

If you do, they will arrest you.

They run your name - part of that good ol' security after 9/11. Your name will be on a "no fly list". Even the ones with names similar to yours will have to go through additional security checking. So better find out for sure before you fly, or you will find out the hard way.
