Tie Breaker Question: How many "commings of Christ" are foretold in the Holy Bible by counting His birth as the first comming?

The answer is 3.(total) He has already came the first time. (Birth). 2 more comings.

Don't confuse Rapture with Revelation.

rapture is the 2nd coming. Then He somes back for the Revealation he (Reveals) Himself. For the Final war.

There is no conflict, it’s probably that people do not understand that there are two “appearings”: two comings of Christ - both with an “R”. The first is the “Rapture”. That's when we hear the words, “come up hither” in Revelation 4:1 and we're caught up in the twinkling of an eye, I Corinthians 15:52. The dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive and remain are caught up with the dead in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, I Thessalonians 4:16.

Now the tribulation hour begins in chapter 6. We're already gone in chapter 4, with the come up hither. We get to verse 12, we have this problem with that was mentioned, but that precedes His coming back to earth, the second part of the Second Coming called His “Revelation”, or his revealing on earth. And revelation 6:12 says, “there was a great earthquake and the sun became black as sack cloth of hair and the moon as blood”. You find it again in Joel chapter 2, verses 30 and 31. But Jesus pinpoints the time in Matthew 24:29, immediately after the tribulation of those days, after the 7 years will the sun become darkened and the moon shall not give her light. Then Christ returns with his people for Jude 14 says the lord comes with ten thousands of his saints. People, need to study the two “appearings” - the two “comings” of Christ, my friend.

according to 1 Thess, the "rapture" takes place after the judgement of the dead. The dead in Christ rise first (see also 1 Cor 15) in Revelation, the dead in Christ are judged in Chapter 11. Nothing is mentioned about people leaving the earth or being taken away until Rev 14 in the Great Harvest which is AFTER the Mark of the Beast but before Wrath and before the 1000 yr reign of Christ.

The general thought is before the 1000 year reign but after the "falling away" and I believe after the Tribulation but before God's Wrath upon the world. I believe that Christians will have to endure the horrible times of the Tribulation which will be akin to world war III and will surely be Nuclear and/or Biological. I believe that rapture occurs not in Chapter Four but Chapter Seven instead. I also believe that falling away could be contributed to the fact that many will see the horrible events of the tribulation and lose faith in God and his word and promise.

The is NO such a thing as a rapture, I don't understand where some people get this from, obviously they aren't reading the bible correctly. The bible in several, several places mentions the 2nd coming of Christ where EVERYBODY WILL SE HIM.

When Jesus comes for the second time,. he will come as a thief, meannig that no one knows the hour and the time when he will come, but surely as the bible itself says it every eye will se him, so lets get ready for his second coming.

God bless!

"Then Jesus told them another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. That night, when everyone was asleep, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and then left. Later, the wheat sprouted and the heads of grain grew, but the weeds also grew. Then the man's servants came to him and said, 'You planted good seed in your field. Where did the weeds come from?' The man answered, 'An enemy planted weeds.' The servants asked, 'Do you want us to pull up the weeds?' The man answered, 'No, because when you pull up the weeds, you might also pull up the wheat. Let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest time. At harvest time I will tell the workers, "First gather the weeds and tie them together to be burned. Then gather the wheat and bring it to my barn." Then Jesus told another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man planted in his field. That seed is the smallest of all seeds, but when it grows, it is one of the largest garden plants. It becomes big enough for the wild birds to come and build nests in its branches." Then Jesus told another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and hid in a large tub of flour until it made all the dough rise." Jesus used stories to tell all these things to the people; he always used stories to teach them. This is as the prophet said: "I will speak using stories; I will tell things that have been secret since the world was made." Then Jesus left the crowd and went into the house. His followers came to him and said, "Explain to us the meaning of the story about the weeds in the field." Jesus answered, "The man who planted the good seed in the field is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed are all of God's children who belong to the kingdom. The weeds are those people who belong to the Evil One. And the enemy who planted the bad seed is the devil. The harvest time is the end of the world, and the workers who gather are God's angels. "Just as the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all who cause sin and all who do evil. The angels will throw them into the blazing furnace, where the people will cry and grind their teeth with pain. Then the good people will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. You people who can hear me, listen." (Matthew 13:24 - 43 NCV)

According to Jesus, the people of God and the people of the devil will not be seperated untill the end of the world!

Actually the answer is 2. The first time He came as a baby----there will be a time when He will be seen in the clouds when He comes for His own but He will not COME TO EARTH---we will go and meet Him in the air---the 2nd time He comes it will be in a battle.

Two full complete comings. Rapture is not considered a coming. Unseen comings don't count. He comes to the hearts of new believers everry day.
