Do you use powder coloring? I used powder and my candy came out spotchy. The powder did'nt seem to dissolve. What am I doing wrong?

use a generic food coloring, that's what works the best!

i've never used powdered, but i'd dilute it with water and maybe sugar. either that, or corn syrup--it will blend into the candy, but you can make sure there are no clumps or uneven parts before you mix it in.

After boiling has ceased, stir in coloring and then flavoring. Either liquid or paste, the paste works best.

I use powder colour when i'm melting white chocolate and it works great but use liquid colour for everything else
