At the equator, an average of 12756km. The equator is, however, slightly elliptical, and the poles are maybe 40km more flattened. This is actually a mathematical problem, not a scientific one. A kilometre was originally defined as 1/10000 of the distance between the North Pole and the Equator on a line passing through Calais. Earth's circumference, assuming it to be a perfect sphere, would therefore be a 40000km circle and its diameter would therefore be 40000/pi km, which is 12732km. This is wrong because Earth isn't a perfect sphere and the definition of the kilometre has changed.

Earth ranks fifth in size among the nine planets. It has a diameter of about 8,000 miles (13,000 kilometers). Jupiter, the largest planet, is about 11 times larger in diameter than Earth. Pluto, the smallest planet, has a diameter less than one-fifth that of Earth.

the diameter of the earth is c/pi=d so circumference (25000 miles) divided by pi (3.14) = diameter
so the diameter is ~ 7961.783miles
