My birthday is coming up in a few days, it's on August 17th, and my family is VERY short on cash, and I don't want them to spend money just to throw me a birthday party. I was wondering, what can I do to make money? I live In Las Vegas, and I don't think that there is many stuff to do here. All the jobs are for older people. I've tried a lemonade stand, I've tried a car wash, but nope, it didn't work. I live in a neighborhood with VERY old people, that don't like young kids like me being around them. Any idea on what I can do? Thanks!

Dog walking/pet sitting is really popular and doesn't have an age limit. Also, not sure if tehy have them out in Vegas or not...b ut you should look into market research companies in your area. Often times they look for kids to test toys or video games or food. Its worth looking into :)

You really can't make much money in such a short time, but I believe that your birthday does not have to cost much to be a nice one. Tell your parents that you'd just like a cake, maybe a balloon, a hand made card, and one small present, and for them to loudly sing "Happy Birthday to You!"
Down the road, if you want to make money, try to befriend those old people. Maybe they're not as bad as they look. You could help them with errands, you could dog walk, any work around the house or yard. I say that you have hidden gold there. Act responsibly and you'll be in high demand and will be able to command high rates!

Yard work is always a good way to go for making extra money. Or if anyone has a dog, you can charge $5 for walking the dog for a half an hour.

Can you cut grass. Maybe rake yards, clean cars. Check with your neighbors and explain what you've asked us maybe they might need some work done around the yard or house. Good luck and happy b-day

Ask around. Maybe your neighbors are putting off some chores that they themselves would happily give you.
