I remember in the 70's & 80's there were no red or blue m&m's, but there was another color...what was it?

yellow, green, orange and brown were the original colors but there is another color close to one of the above colors...be specific please!

You had two shades of brown back in the day. A dark and a light brown. This was supposed to reflect the chocolateness of the candy, especially as a reinforcement after the red dye was pulled due to links with cancer. Mars wanted to reassert the chocolate nature of the candy, hence the two browns.

If you go to www.mms.com you can buy mixed lots of colors, such as two shade of blue, and green...hmmm, Seahawks colors!!!!

I don't mind the red ones. They actually were an original M and M color. They quit doing red because a lot of people were allergic to the dye. They reformulated the dye, and red came back. I with you on the blue ones though. They just don't look good.

Anything blue yum! but I'm just weird
M&Ms yellow, green, brown & orange are the classic colours

I'm more of a Smarties fan. Yes I eat the red ones last! :)
