Your parents are more lenient that I am. I don't let my kids chat, blog, or participat in things like Yahoo answers.

Your parents are the way they are because they love you and want you to stay alive. As a parent I too can be overprotective but what you have to see is we have been in this world a little longer and know what can happen to a child in a split second. Try talking to your parents and explain to them how you feel and try to work out a compromise. You don't say how old you are and that will also make a difference. Also if you want to be treated with respect and given responsibility then you have to show them you are worthy of it. If you go out with a friend and they say home by 9 be home at 8:55. Parents have to know that they can trust you to do the right thing when they aren't around and getting mad and throwing a temper tantrum is only going to remind them you are a child.

I wouldnt advise telling them anything off. You should be happy they love you enough to look over your shoulder. Some day you will wish you still had them to do that for you. Shows they love you

You don't you deal with it until you are 18, then you can move out and show them that you no everything. You need to respect your parents they only have your best intrest at heart.

I know how you feel. Sometimes I think they are trying to look out for me and sometimes I think they don't trust me. And most of the time it hurts me that they don't trust me and I haven't done anything wrong.
