Without more information its kind of hard to figure what the problem might be? Could be a bad disc, or the information your trying to burn is corrupted? Check the disc? Is the information you wanted burned to the disc and it stopped burning?
Go with the obvious first and work from there.

Could be the CD writer itself. Have you tried adjusting the write speed down to see if that helps?

Also, it helps to not have many other programs running while burning. It's trying to use the processor streaming information and too much else going on can interfere or cause errors.

Very possibly you may not have enough memory to run it to the end. When it burns the cd the program you are burning is temporarily put in your hard drive to burn to the cd. If you don't have enough space on your hard drive it cannot burn correctly.

Hope that helps.

p.s. CD's are so cheap now that using rewritable disks aren't necessary and they do create problems.
