Why is it that people start screaming and answering "answers having nothing to do with the question or statement at hand" BEFORE THE READ THE ENTIRE FREAKING STORY?

MY PET IS NOT SICK, I DO NOT NEED A VET FOR ANY REASON, I POSTED MY POST TO HELP THOSE WHO MAY FIND THEMSELVES IN AN UNFORTUNATE SITUATION SOMETIMES. IF YOU READ IT ALL, YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT.
(For all the folks who need a vet, and can't afford one...?)

Sheesh!

Besides, it's not like they wouln't HAVE to pay sooner or later!
You are fighting and screaming at something you didn't READ in it's entirety!

I for one have been here saying
TAKE IT TO A VET,
TAKE IT TO A VET,
I have been an advocate here for responsible ownership, breeding, and all that I could. I see NOTHING wrong with helping if you can.
THIS WASN'T ASKING FOR FREE SERVICES FROM VET'S. BUT THAT A VET SEE THEM!
You should be intelligent enough to know they would be billed, JUST AS A HOSPITAL DOES WHEN THEY HAVE PATIENTS THAT CAN'T PAY RIGHT THEN AND THERE.

I understand and sympathise with NOT ANSWERING...
I too get tired of answering the same old questions all the time, How long before puppies are born "whelped" is my dog having a period "heat cycle" blah blah blah.
But I try to bring important issues to light, and try to give geniune and helpful answers, NOT CUTE "what they think is cute" SMART A$$ remarks that have nothing to do with the issues they answer too. MAN, THIS CRAP IS GETTING OLD.

I think some people are just eager to get their points with the least effort. I have personally posted many times and people's answers proved that they have definetely not read the question. Luckily though, there those few that take the time to read and answer accordingly, and those deserve the 10 points.

Hi. I am so sorry for the suffering this ferret and caregiver had to endure. In my life I have had many financial ups and downs too. My three cats 15, 16 and 4 have cost lots of money. But I have have had the luck to have had very caring good vets to care for them. Once in Manhattan I witnessed a young boy bring in an Iguana with a tail wound he said he could pay 50 cents a week if the vet would see his pet the doctor said yes. The address was at 118 and 1st. This vet saved my cat 14 years ago when another might not have. Where I live now my current wonderful vets have many times given me discounts and allowed me to pay my bills in a timely manner. The key is talk to them, establish a relationship. My cats are part of the family and as important as each member. My responsibility is to do all the right things like vaccines and prompt care for problems. If I can't do that they are better off not with me. Recently I decided not to move because the landlord said only 2. In our country there are people over 62 who cannot pay for their medications and do without. And some die because of that. Folks don't have health care. I signed the petition but its not likely to help. I have tell you I am sorry. And yes you should pierce your ears. It will look good. Get some of those really big hoops girlfriend they are so hot.

OOOOHHHHH, they would be BILLED!!!!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

You have clearly had no experience working anyplace that BILLS people!!!

I have worked in vet hospitals for 14 years, and a cat shelter for 5.
ALl the vets I worked for did BILL people for years. Then they realized they could not go on doing that because they were losing TONS of money and raising the prices and that was making the other clients unhappy....so they stopped billing. You are TOTALLY fooling yourself if you think even HALF of the billed deadbeats would ever send a DIME!!!!!!!!

And you did not seem to be talking about really unfortunate circumstances. You said you were talking about perhaps vet bills that run into the thousands. Is that for real???!!!!! If you are talking about that kind of vet bill, like for a horrid fracture, or cancer, or exploratory surgery...then the person either has the money or the pet needs to be put down!!!!! Who is going to foot the bill for someone elses fracture repair?????????????
As it is in a shelter, you can maybe save one pet with the thousand dollar vet bill, or you can save 50 with that same thousand dollars. There is going to be no good cost effectivness for the animals.

I am sorry if someone who was a good pet owner suddenly falls on hard times and can't afford care for the animal. They should be able to get help from and friend or family member, or get a credit card, or something. I don't think more handouts is the answer. And I know for a fact that many of these people would NEVER pay it back. Then what...sue them?????? Can't get blood out of a turnip, and they know that!!!!!

Yeah, and call a hospital or look online and you can see the number of people that are "self-pay" (have no insurance), and see how many of them NEVER pay!!!!!!!! That is one of the great problems in health care!!!!!!

faith is a mushy situation for me. i'm catholic. My fiance is catholic, and our son would be baptised catholic next month. i think in god, i think in jesus dieing for our sins, heaven and hell. i do no longer although have self belief in all of the politics that circulate alongside with the church. i don't experience that i'd desire to take a seat down in an uneventful mass a week to verify that my prayers to be heard or for the lord to comprehend i think. I additionally think of the catholic church bases way toooo a lot around the sturdy ol dollar...each thing is money. The church is meant to be there to assist, yet yet they're consistently those with their palms out. There are some practices I disagree with...i think this is my option to apply beginning administration or have intercourse earlier marriage, actual if that's the worst element I do in my life...i'm pleased with it, and that i'm hoping god is in simple terms too. i think of as long as i think, am chuffed, and am an overall sturdy guy or woman, the lord would be chuffed. (or a minimum of i will desire).

How do you know they do not read the whole thing? I read it all even though I get bored reading it all particularly if it is a LONG story or something.. but if it is TOO long and/or I am not interested, I just do not answer.

I do think you should get your ears pierced. I mean...I know it was a big late 80's/early 90's thing, but I think you can pull it off. Good luck
