No woman can get a menstrual period while pregnant. The hormones of pregnancy totally prevent ovulation so any bleeding during pregnancy cannot be called a "period." So why do some women have regular bleeding episodes?
1. Implantation bleeding when the fetus attaches to the uterine wall
2. Intermittent bleeding due to getting pregnant while being on the Pill.
3. Other "early pregnancy" bleeding which sometimes leads to a miscarriage, but many women go on to carry these babies to term
Yes, many women have regular bleeding while pregnant but it's not a period. Hope this is helpful.

you're halfway there. you can still get your period when you are pregnant. but learn how to chart out your cycle on a calendar and be able to point out your most fertile times. it's not a perfect science but it should be close enough for you to gauge how risky the situation is. you are probably fine. if you are really worried then you can take the plan b within 3 days of the session. the good thing about the plan B is that if you are pregnant, then the pill doesn't stop the pregnancy. so it's not an abortion pill. it just makes everything slippery so that the sperm and egg never meet. imagine a high school dance where there are girls and guys. so the plan B just puts grease on the dance floor. since everyone is slipping around, no one is hooking up. so you're probably fine.next time check the condom mid session to make sure it's still sitting right. if your period is totally normal then i wouldn't take the plan B, but if it stops suddenly then take it. taking the plan B is not fun.

Yes it is. It happens to some women the first few months of their pregnancy. It is a shorter lighter period usually. It happened to me for 3 months. If you have your period now it could be what is called "implantation bleeding". When the fertilized egg attaches to the wall of the uterus you may bleed and think you are not pregnant, but you are. If this may be happening to you, take a home pregnancy test. If it's negative, to be sure you did not do it too early, wait at least 5 more days and repeat. Good luck.

Yes you can! My oldest son is 22yrs old and I only skipped 2 or 3 of them the entire time. I didn't even know that I was pregnant until I had him. I only gained five lbs. I had a couple with my 2nd child and none with my 3rd. It's not common, but it DOES happen
and don't let anyone tell you any different!!! Be careful until you know for sure.

Yes, I had a friend who never knew she was pregnant until she had really bad cramps and went to the ER and had her baby. She had her period the entire 9 months.

Yes ! You can go through a complete pregnancy and not miss a period. But there is no danger in it.
If you are uncomfortable with it, or if you have unusual pain go directly to your OBGYN, without hesitation !
