Vinegar helps remove the odor. I used it on my couch cover and it worked! : )

Personally, maybe i have 'touchy' nose, but no matter what you do still makes the odors linger. Especially in heat. You wouldnt notice it after awhile because youde get used to the smell. I would throw them out, FIX YOUR CAT,and go shopping! Whats funner than going shopping for new clothes!

You wash them twice, the first time pour a couple of cups of vinegar in the water and the next time, pour a box of baking soda in the water. I've done that and it worked for a couple of blankets that got "sprayed".

I have always used sudsy amonia, it seems to take amonia to get rid of cat amonia. It also works on work clothes. And it doesn't weaken the fibres.

not sure about cat, but i think this will work (i moved into my house, and a dog had sprayed before hand) frebreze or fabric freshener--extra strength
