does your freshman year in high school suck b/c everyone i know who went to high school hated their frehsman year

Honestly, I hated all of high school except my senior year, but I loved college. Most people like either high school or college, not both. You'll be fine in HS, and, trust me, everyone is feeling those same insecure feelings as they enter their freshman year.

It's just an adjustment. My freshman year was actually kind of fun, but very different than intermediate school. Many more people - many older than you, more work, harder classes . . . I found that before high school, I never had to really try in classes to get As, but in high school, I did. That was an adjustment. You get introduced to many new classes and people. You basically expand your horizons. It's an adjustment, but hopefully, one day you'll look back at it all and smile. Have fun and enjoy the time you have there. You might miss it when it's gone!

freshman year for me was kinda tough, as well as for many others. we were all trying to find who we were and what we wanted to be. but once we moved onto sophomore and junior year, i felt more confident in who i was and what i believed in. but for some, they already think they know who they are before they get to high school.

freshman year isnt nearly as bad as middle school! i hated middle school! it all depends on what school you're going to! when i was a sophmore, i had alot of freshman friends. however, you will always get picked on some. its tradition. and you'll do it to when you're an upper classman. it's only one year, deal with it.

Freshmen year is what you make it, if you go in their with the wrong attitude you have already lost the battle. Be strong and confident in your studies as well as your social life and you'll climb the social and academic ladders fast!

high school is what you make of it.
although we were constantly tormented by seniors, i look back on freshman year as probably the best year of high school
