I am not anti-Semite, I have Jewish friends. I know how well equipped the Israeli forces are, but I just love a damn underdog kick a.s.s.!
Heard they can now destroy a Merkava tank! Cool!

i think it is very possible because if you consider hezbollah a terrorist organization then de facto isreeal is a terrorist organization because isreal drops way larger rockets on civilians purposely to make the lebanese fell they must stay away from hezbollah to live and isreal has racked up a way larger amount of killing civilians than hezbollah(hezbollah reports the names and date of thier soldiers killed in arabic news papers and they do wear uniforms) on the other hand hezbollah has killed more isreali soldiers than civilians leading me to beleive that hezbollah is more surgical in thier methods than isreal which has shown a blaten disregard for human life by raining down more of their rockets. so my final breakdown is isreal has shown air supiorority but has met an equal advisory on the ground.

They kidnapped 2 SOLDIERS in retaliation for the Israelis Kidnapping some of their people.
In retaliation Israel has killed many [possibly 100's] civilians while the Israeli deaths reported have all been soldiers.
As far as other actions taken against the Israelis you should know that they are extremely well equipped with weapons supplied and paid for by the USA.
The Palestinians , the former occupants of Palestine now called Israel , where forced out of their recent ancestral homes by the USA backed Zionists.
The 'Arab' neighbors basically said that this was not fair to the Arab/Phoenician Palestinians who had been living there in peace for generations.
The Jews where forced out several times in the past because they are jerks
Many times in the biblical past they where forced from 'their lands' because of something they did to get their neighbors outraged at them.
This is the land of an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth.
That means that if a neighbor makes you loose a tooth you are allowed to make him loose a tooth BUT no more than what you lost.
The Israelis have disproportionately retaliated and this is not the first time. The Palestinians intelligent bomb [aka suicide bomber] at least has the ability to either go off or not and is better able to direct itself to the intended target. These intelligent bombs truly are willing to give their life for something they believe in, a Palestinian homeland
God is the root of all evil for it is God who is stated motive of most wars. [in some form or another]

One of the things happening in the middle east is that the news media only report when Israel looses a soldier they will never say that for every one Israel soldier kill 40 hezbollah people die. I cannot bring my self to call them hezbollah "fighters" because they fight with out honor and hide behind woman and children as human shield. Their #1 strategy is to fire as many rockets as they can from populated areas knowing that Israel will retaliate and civilians will get hurt. Only so the international community will come down on Israel and praise them for fighting an oppressing nation.

i say in this case, the underdog should have their god damn asses whipped by the Israeli military machine
If your so called heroic underdog uses tactics like hiding behind women and children to shoot at the Israelis, i seriously think that you are betting on the wrong team.
either way, those 'heroic' underdogs should be killed, with absolute no quarter given
The Israelis do not expect any quarter and neither will they give to those who refuse to accept their existence and are constantly plotting ways and means to kill Israelis and their families.

I am sorry but I can not root for an underdog that targets civilians, hides behind the elderly, women and children and engages in terrorist activities.
I could see your point if they were fighting an honorable war against the military, but they are only engaging the Israeli Military when it comes to them - otherwise they are trying to inflict damage on civilians and that is just wrong.

Both sides ( Hezbollah and Israel) are in fact the same Entity....
Who give weapons to Hezbollah? China!
Why don't we just ask China.....not to sell weapons to Hezbollah...They want this toi happen...
I definitely want Peace.....and Education, because nothing of this would happen if the People was Educated...

Well as the US would not allow this to happen, this is a mute point.
However if I had to make a prediction, Israel would kick their butt.
Also, the underdog here wants to kill anyone who does not follow their religion.So, this is not an underdog I am willing to cheer for!

A crater is a crater... a bomb is a bomb... either way you think it through people on both sides will die! My personal belief is that Israel will kick Tail, and take names, but I'm not in the middle of it and don't want to be... Ill go where the US sends me and my unit when it needs me, but I hope someone over their will pull his/her head out of their butt and make a decision to quit before we all get drug into it...

i don't wish war upon anybody...nobody wins...
purely strategy and military standpoint? when you bring hezbollah (the party of god) into the equation, you bring religion into it...when you bring religion into it, that brings politics into it...when you bring politics, you bring military and strategy...
it is a vicious cycle...and ALL war is fought with these same components, from both sides

the best hezbollah could hope for is a non win for israel. int he sense that that dont lose...cause they keep their land but they couldnt win either.
IF hezbollah did invade israel america would only spoil the fun by butting in. so dont place a bet my friend
