This is my daughter-in-law's speciality and it is might find indeed.

Tater Topped Casserole

½ c. onion, chopped
1/3 c. celery, thinly sliced
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 can Cream of Celery soup
1 pkg. Ore-Ida tater tots

Brown onion, celery and ground beef until slightly transparent. Pour of any fat. Add salt and pepper. Spread mixture in a greased shallow baking pan. Pour celery soup over top of mixture. Top with tater tots. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes or until bubbly.

Mushroom soup maybe substituted for the celery soup.

I have a recipe that calls for ground beef, tomato soup mixed with a little water, diced onions layered in a 9 x 9 pan, with tater tots placed on top and baked in the oven at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.

I've made a tater tot casserole before, but instead it had sausage, corn and campbell's cheese sauce. It was pretty good too.

I have had it, but mine never had any green beans in it, nor did it call for it, although im sure it would be just as tasty, the recipe I have always made calls for hamburger, which is tasty too!

Ew, no I've never had that (I prefer real food). I guess you could just try different types of condensed soup...cheese soup?

I've never tried it with green beans, I may have to make it that way this weekend. Thanks for the idea!
