Once you wash your hair try using curl enhancing mousse. Make sure your hair is still wet though. And then just put the mousse in your hand and grab some hair and scrunch it up. Do this repeatedly until all of your hair is sord of wavy let it dry. And it will be wavy. Or just have someone french braid your hair and leave it in for the night. Then when you wake up take the french braid out and use gel. Then your hair will be wavy.

When your hairs wet just scrunch it up that should help it be wavy if your hair is like sticks also try using conditioner before hand or a 2 min cream you leave on your hair then wash off

Right after you wash your hair....like before bed, don't completely dry it. Leave it a little damp...not wet. Braid your hair. Starting at the roots and the front right side, take 1 1/2 inch sections and braid them. Get as close to the bottom as you can. You'll need small rubber-bands too. Just keep taking these 1 1/2 inch sections all around your head. You'll probably have a round 10 sections or so. 10 braids. When you wake up, before you take out the braids, take your hairdryer and blow-dry each braid. Your just making sure they are completely dried. Take them out and DON'T brush them. Use a wide toothed comb to comb your hair. It should be good and wavy. (suggestion) I take a curling iron and under-curl the very ends of each braid before I take the braids out. This looks very good with no broomstick ends. Your gonna love it!

Are we talking permanently or just something you can do once in awhile ? I suggest you get some LARGE rollers. I use the big blue ones from GOODY, they work great. After washing my hair, I put a small amount of hair serum and work in the ends for shine.Put in the rollers per section. With a hair dryer, on a cool setting, just lightly dry your hair in rollers.

I love this look. It's natural, bouncy and shiny.
Good luck !

ok u r talking to a person who WANTS straight hair... I have wavy hair.. and sometimes it's horrible... cuz your hair gets so tangled. I can use a straightner to straighten my hair.. but it won't stay like that for ever! My hair is the way it is... and yours. I said what I had to... If u really are that desprate.. u should talk to a beautician. otherwise... braid it in the night... and undo the braids in the morning... as i said... it's not permanent.

Buy those HUGE curlers like jessica simpson uses and before u put them in put a little bit of moose in ur hair. sleep wit the curlers in and in the morning ur hair will b wavy!!!

A curling iron? Or hot rollers. Or a perm. But if I were you though, I'd be happy for the straight hair. I absolutely loath my wavy hair.

If you don't mind it being slightly hard...

when you get out of the shower, brush your hair out straight. Once its smooth, put longlasting gel in your hands and crunch your hair over and over. Then crunch it all into an area on your headspray with hairspray and wrap in a towel like a turban. Let sit for a little while.

Get a gentle body perm that will give your hair strength without making it too curly. Today's products really are kind to your hair. But you do need to find a good hair dresser. Ask around for recommendations.

Have you tried sleeping in braids? Wash your hair before bed, put it in braids while it's wet, when u wake up take the braids out and run your fingers through...you should have some waves. Also a body perm can give you some waves.
