Sorry to say, you can't use floppies for that. That is exactly the reason they are extinct now because they are too small and too slow. You would be using about 500 floppies if you actually tried to do that...not to mention you would have to break the entire OS into little pieces to make them fit into floppies.

If you don't have access to a CD-burner, then go out and buy it. In fact, get a DVD burner, its a lot better. On top of that just to let you know, you can't just "copy" windows from one computer to another. You need the original CD (or in image or something) of the entire operating system and its installation files. If you don't have that either, then go and just buy a new operating system. It will be expensive but will really save you a lot of headache.

It would take 450 floppy disks so just buy a CD Rom drive for 35 bucks from www.newegg.com

If you can get your CD working with a boot disk you can install 2000. There is even a way to avoid the product key requirement but that is another question for someone to ask

floppys would take HOURS and MILLIONS of discs, other than that, a CD Burner would be the way to go, about 4-8 CD's

what you should do is make a boot disk... the boot disk usually has a generic driver for your cd drive. Then use the promt to selet the windows 2000 cd in the drive and run setup.exe or whatever and you are ready to go.
