I say move on...u deserve better. I can't possibly no how u feel, but it seems like u hve shown him the way u feel and now hes taking advantage of ur feelings, thinking tht no matter how he treats u, u'll always be there. Thats why u never, NEVER show a guy 100 % how u feel about him, this way u don't risk getting hurt.
U need to make a point with this guy, just because u care for him does not give him the right to treat or in this case mistreat u. Teach him a lesson, the next time he does this, don't be there for him. Remember, " u don't no wht u got, untill u lose it".

Good luck.

FROM EXPERIENCE:
This is not going to change. If you want this for the rest of your life, go for it. If you don't, you need to make a change. I have found out over and over that the longer I hold on to someone who isn't treating me the way I know I deserve, then the longer I suffer. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but you have to take the first step to reach the end of the tunnel....and right now your stuck. Re-read your question, and ask yourself "why do I put up with this". Then make the decision to do something good for yourself, and trust God to lead you to a happier place. My prayers for you, God bless.

You are whining, my dear. You are allowing him to treat you that way! Obviously you are getting something out of your lousy excuse for a relationship or you would not keep coming back for more of the same. You seriously need to dump him and get yourself into therapy. I hope you will do so, or you'll just find another loser and repeat the same thing over again. If you have any kids they will copy your unhealthy behavior when they're grown. You can count on it. Good luck.

Dump his sorry butt and move on.

I hooked up with a chick with issues that she didn't want to fix because she has other priorities first (sounds like your guy). They don't want help so they could keep acting lame and blame it on their condition, thus throwing personal responsibility right out the window. It was a period of my life I wish I could go back and erase. Luckily it only lasted a month and a half. But I was stupid for letting it go for so long. I was actually trying to be understanding and tried to "be there for her" blah blah. I was such a dumbass.

Move on. Seriously.

hmmm...sounds to me like he's afraid of the connection. he probably loves you just as much as you love him, but has probably been hurt in a previous relationship. that being said, what you need to do is sit down with him and explain to him that he doesn't always need to be defensive with you, that you're not going to turn on him the first chance you get and that you're not going to leave anytime soon. give him a chance to really communicate with you. while you are talking to him, without screaming and shouting, calmly explain to him why it hurts you when he does the things he does, and explain that its something that you want to get past together, that you're willing to do anything to make it work, if he'll only open up to you...take this approach, and he will.

Hon, he is feeding his pride on you. That's why he treats you like a doormat... you can still love him, but you gotta let him go. try to make room for something or someone else in that heart of yours.... You will not change him no matter how much the love. Change is personal. He's gotta want it.

leave him. if you are this awesome to a guy, you should get total respect and you should be treated royally. don't go for him. i swear i went through the same thing. it's been less than a year and i still miss him, but i'm so much better off w/o him.

SNAP OUT OF IT! Listen to yourself! You sound like an utter FOOL!

Get some self-worth and choose to spend time with people that show you respect, and while you're at it respect yourself.
