You don't "adopt" from a breeder, you purchase from a breeder. And when you choose to purchase from a breeder, that means other dogs that are already in the world and needs new homes will be killed.
Malamutes are very challenging dogs. You have to LOOOVE having fur all over you, your furniture, your counters, your food. You have to provide a job for them and extensive exercise. Be forwarned, they're cute, but not an easy breed. Nordic breeds such as malamutes are also known for being aggressive with other dogs, and being excellent escape artists. Never leave unattended in your backyard.

hopefully in an air conditioned room - i would think you could search for a malamute rescuei on line - good luck !

If you want to adopt one, why not try and find a breeder? That's what my family did with my dog.
