Of course. It also does not stop me from using my cell phone, but there are no accurate long term studies that can either prove or disprove the safety of cell phones. In my opinion, if they are used in moderation, you will reduce the effects of any possible negative side effects.

Yes, I'm concerned that we might not be getting enough radiation from cell phones and other devices. Please join me in petitioning Congress to establish a Minimum Daily Requirement of radiation and passing laws to compel cell phone manufacturers to see to it that their phones give us what we are entitled to!

Actually, the US Army has already done studies on electro-magnetic power depositon in tissues as a possible weapon, and concluded that no existing (non laser, non-coherent) transmitter works fast enough to cause significant harm. Now, they were actually trying to cause harm. Does anybody seriously think that some cell phone manufacturer is going to kill people by accident...? Even with long and repeated exposures...?

There is always going to be a few people at the low end of the bell-shaped curve, those who are particularly susceptible. But they are by far the exception to the rule, rather than the rule itself.

Hey, why not consider it evolution in action...? It seems to me that those who object to the presence of man-released radiation in the environment are those who are afraid that they will be the 'weak' who die off and not the 'strong' who will absorb it and profit from it and grow stronger and mutate and develop super powers and pass them on to their progeny! They're just jealous, that's all.

I was concerned about it but during my summer statistic course, we analyzed the data from the Danish study about cell phone users with cancer and we found that the rate of cancer among cell phone users is no different from the rate of cancer within the population as a whole.

Before we worry about cell phones, we should make every occupant of a motor vehicle wear a crash helmet. This would demonstrably save thousands and thousands of lives every year.

That is much less ridiculous than being concerned about cell-phone safety!
