Ok you see mucus that's bile.
Well now my dog has had colitis before.
So I will ask you first does your dogs stomach seem
to growl or do they seem to have a lot of gas?
If so then it could be colitis and they need antibiotics
and special meds.
Now if not then it could for sure be the water and you
must just calm her tummy down. I have gone to the vet
and it is always the same thing they give me the can of
chicken and rice. Well I found it much easier to make myself.
I just boil up and make white rice. I put a half of that to a half
of a cup of boiled chicken mushed up into tiny pieces.
This should help for sure. Come the next day at least the
2nd bowel movement it should look better. I would do this
over the weekend. If things calm down you may not need
to go to the vet. After all if all the other things came out clear and your dog seems healthy for you are into taking it to the vet for regular things. This may be a simple issue of the water from the pond bothering her or she may just have a stomach bug. If it doesn't change things then she may have colitis and she will need to go to the vet.
Now on the issue of you changing her food often when you do that you are to mix part of the old food in with the new food little by little every day for about a week. Until eventually you have the new food as base and the old food is gone. Like say you feed your dog 1 cup of food a day example. You would only put in not even a 1/4 of a cup of the new stuff. Then the next day you would up the new stuff etc...........
I hope this helps.

How often are you changing the food. Diet changes upset their digestion and can cause diarreah. Could be an allergy to the food itself.

You mentioned the water at the lake/pond, could be a parasite of some sort. I would make sure the pet is well hydrated and get her to a vet just to be on the safe side if anything. I would also not let her get too excited and keep her quiet and isolated from other animals. Preserve her energy and strength in case she needs it to recover from something later on. I wish I could be more help to you.

Here is a great website and they will take your calls and call you back to check on the animal. They may reccomend some home remedies and they really do know their stuff!

Not all worms are visible without the help of a microscope. A mucus film on the stool could be a sign of an intestinal parasite infection, as can diarrhea. The only thing that you can do is take your dog into the vet's office and have them do a fecal test for you. You can even collect a sample right before your appointment to bring in to them.

I just went through this with my dog, although she is only 20 pounds and is a jack russell/pug mix. Anyway, I took her to the vet and spent over $200 to find out there isn't anything wrong with her, that dogs sometime have loose stool and diarrhea for no apparent reason. Anyway, I gave her a diet of white rice and boiled chicken or boiled ground turkey until she had solid stool again. Once she was doing better, I slowly added her food back to the rice mixture until she was back on solid food. I would suggest if you want to have her checked to just take a stool sample to the vet to have tested. If they don't find any abnormalities in her stool then you don't spend the money for a unnecessary vet visit. Good Luck.

The first thought that comes to mind is worms. Be sure and take a stool sample to the vet's on Monday.

Is there some way she is getting fat put into her diet. Like pig ears, or bacon drippings on her kibble
Mucousy, I beleive means too much fat in the diet. Let us know what you find out ok.
In the mean time, try a tablespoon of plain pumkin canned. It helps with diareaha and constipation.
