I attend a pentecostal church in Orosi CA and the church is just full of the holy Ghost!!! Every body there has there little ups and downs but girl try going to a Apostolic or Pentecostal Church you will know what i'm talking to you about. And i hope you will get saved and don't worry about churches or don't even judge cause there will be a big judgment happening soon when Jesus Christ comes .

Many churches in the recent past have been reluctant to discipline members. The baptist churches were quick to do that years ago. As a result-they have acquired a reputation of being mean, but most all their churches are clean and straight as an arrow. Also they have not had to deal with many of the moral issues that most all other denominations struggle with constantly. Every other church has had major problems with the morality of members and clergy, except maybe Presbyterian, Bible Church movement .
Churches are afraid that if they attempt to deal with problems that they will lose members. Sad,

Demons as well as Saints dwell in the church. I love church and have yet to experience a situation I could not handle. At present, I do not attend, because I have been led to seek God in all things. The knowledge that He does not exist soley within the perameters of 4 walls is new for most people and hard for many to accept. If anything, tradition has fueled my recent quest for deeper knowledge. It is something that saturates the modern church with such a hold and funk, many new members find it hard to enter in. God help us to see and love each other you would have us to.
God bless and keep you,
Jai

I go to church on a regular basis and really enjoy it. It gives me a space where I can just let go of everything. I do not get ties up with all the personal stuff that goes on. Like all the "Did you hears about". That is not why I am there.

I think it's better than not believing in anything. You don't necessarilly have to go to a church to have faith or find meaning in your life through spirtuality and divine growth... Churchs' are run by man and unfortunately we can't the stock in them that we wish they were worth however the do serve a function.. one is to bring non believers or back sliders back to worship even if it is only to regain a faith perspective. But church itself these days is over marketed and puts more emphasis on what is in your pocket than what is in the heart.. this aspect of church is disheartening. I also have a problem with the way they try to boss you around in terms of what you should or should not believe.

big church has big problem, small church also problem. However, big church problem could be able use of power and all that. It all comes to people. People are the church.
Atfer we are all sinners. I guess there is no perfect church on earth. I know someon who do like the way church is doing, and they decided not to go to church. However, that is what Jesus commanded us. We should do fellowship with our followers regardess the problem.

This has been my experience with members of organized religion, which I attribute to lack of tolerance:
10 - Members will vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.
9 - Members feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
8 - Members laugh at polytheists, but have no problem believing in a Triune God.
7 - Their faces turns purple when they hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but don't flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
6 - They laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.
5 - They are willing to spend their life looking for loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.
4 - They believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share their particular beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet they consider their religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."
3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince them otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence they require to "prove" Christianity.
2 - They define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. They consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And they think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.
1 - They usually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call themselves Christians.

Religion, Churches, Preachers, Believers, Followers, you name it, they all cause serious problems for humanity.
I know there are many nice people who believe in God, and they wouldn’t intentionally harm anyone. I suspect they would be just as nice if they didn’t believe in God, it’s just how their biological model works for them.
The real evil amongst us, is the vast majority of religious followers and believers who have clearly shown over time to be the major instigators of wars, violence, abuse, greed and practically everything evil on our planet.
We must stop innocent young lives, especially from birth, from being sucked into this evil religious trap. Humanity deserves at least an effort being made in this direction rather than just watching religion and the so-called do goody goody followers corrupting our world with evil.
Our innocent children are subjected to so much abuse. Religion today, irrespective of which religion you belong to, is such a disgrace and a sad reflection on humanity, surely there must be a way to convince our children to walk away from this man-made nonsense and look for a better way.
History and statistics clearly show that religion has miserably failed humanity, and in fact, it’s as close to evil as anyone could imagine. Religion hurts everyone who unfortunately stumbles in its path, especially the minds of young innocent children.
Surely there must be a better way than religion. Humanity has made great progress technologically, surely we at least owe it to our children to find a better answer than religion, and more importantly, do it quickly before we permanently stuff up our world. Our children deserve better.
In my view, churches are major instigators for promoting wrong doing in our societies, and so many so-called preachers sexually abuse young children nowadays. Lots of people have had problems at church, but are just too scared to surface due to the emotional damage and brainwashing they have been subjected to.

And the Lord added daily to "the church" as such as should be saved" the last verse in Acts chapter two. The church is not perfect but its God's way to keep us strong you don't go to church for people, for visiting, but to worshiping, you do not go to church for the point of serving not to be served.
