What are some good foods, other than the Gerber Graduates foods, can I give my little girl? So far, as far as table food, I have tried macaroni and cheese as she loved it out of a Gerber jar, diced ham, crackers, sugar-free pudding, broccoli crowns, peas, and kernels or corn, and cut up cheese. Can I give her peanut butter? Eggs? Cut up grapes? Any suggestions would be WONDERFUL! Thanks!

My little ones love Cheerios and dry cereal. How about scrambled eggs? Pieces of American cheese. Those baby carrots, if she has enough teeth to chew them properly. Banana. Yogurt. I used to use a food mill to grind up what ever the rest of the family was having for dinner. It worked out really well and my babies thought it was quite tasty.

You can start out with the Gerber fruit puffs, they have them in a vegetable variety also. And you can start intoducing grown up foods, just make sure the portions are cut up in very small pieces so your little one won't choke. My daughter loved canned string bean right out of can when she was a toddler, it was a hilarious! I wouldn't introduce peanut butter just yet... ask her doctor when it's a good time to start her on that, I can't remember what age your young has to be for the peanut butter, but with the consistency being so thick it could choke your child. Good luck!

I would wait on the peanut butter and eggs only because these tend to be high allergic response type foods. Too early of an exposure make cause allergies to these foods. When my children were babies I had found this book it was something like Super Baby Food (I can't remember) Any how, it had some really great information and great ideas. You could see if your local library has it. Good luck.

Forget that jarred stuff and feed her table food. She can start to have small servings of almost anything you eat.
Mac and cheese
spaghetti and meatsauce
ravioli
bagels
bananas
cooked carrots
bits of tender meat
rice
unsalted rice cakes
small pieces of a grilled cheese sandwiches
cubes of extra firm tofu
crackers
whole grain cereals
peas
green beans
broccoli
sweet potatoes
bits of baked potato
stuffing
hard boiled eggs
yogurt
cottage cheese
applesauce

Yes you can try a little peanut butter (creamy), eggs, cut up grapes, cut up hot dogs (but make sure to cut them up really small cause hot dogs are the number 1 killer of children under 3), bananas, just about anything you can eat is fine.

Unless you have a history of food allergies peanut butter is fine. Canned green beans, applesauce, yogurt, small pieces of bread with spread, pitted olives, cheese, anything goes as long as it's not too hard. Just fool around and have fun.

Anything goes. Try black olives. He/she will really love that.
Peanut butter is great. It is much better than most sugarless stuff around. It mostly has sweeteners in it you don't want to give your kid.
If it is small enough and not to salty (or no salt at all) you can feed your child what you are eating...within reason of course. A diet with lots of vegetables is better than pizza and burgers.

Pretty much what you eat cut up really small. I have a very picky eater (now 5) because I stuck to "kid food" for so long. Now he only wants mac n cheese, pizza, chicken nuggets, pb&j, etc. Any don't start asking them what they want for dinner, that will get you into real trouble eventually, as you will get tired of being a short order chef.

When my children were too old for baby food at about 12 months or so, I fed them pancakes, scrambled eggs, grilled cheese (make them more soggy) hot dogs cut up very small, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, anything cut up small, but I wouldn't try like steak or something like that. applesauce, pudding, and soft foods are good too.

for snacks 12 months old love graham crackers, fruit snacks, cut up grapes is fine, peanut butter is ok as long as you give it on something like a cracker.. otherwise its hard to swallow and can get all sticky in her throat...
any foods are ok as long as they are easy to chew and not easy to choke on... hope i helped a little
