I'm normally the kind of college student that gets 6 hours a night, and thats enough, and 7 is a great nights sleep. Within the last few nights I have been unable to wake myself up before 10:00 am. This included going to be around 11:00 pm. So I'm sleeping close to 11 Hours a night. My sleeping environment hasnt changed at all. My only concern is that it isnt even an issue of self discipline, as my alarm went off this morning I was unable to turn it off. I was messing around with button on top instead of the side(Have had the clock for over 4 years). When my cell phone vibrated and woke me up, I got up to turn off my alarm clock!

Any Expanations?

You could be depressed. Depression affects people in different ways - for some insomnia and for others sleeping all the time. With the end of summer break upon us and anticipation of going back to school just around the corner, who could blame you? Or your body could just be telling you that you need more rest - you might be fighting off an infection like mono. :) I heard today that mono is going around in my neighborhood.

Your body is just telling you it needs more sleep. As long as you're not missing classes-enjoy your extra sleep!
