Kelly, extremely intelligent People sometimes think that they are above others. That's not to say that they are and not all are arrogant. Usually I have found that if someone answers as this young lady did they have some sort of an insecurity and take personally a generalized statement or question. Just accept it for what it is and don't take her comments personally.
