Move away from the kitten,go to another room,close your eyes and think of the first thing that impressed you about the animal,call him that but,cat's hearing is tuned to the higher levels of human speech, so,it will have to involve the S;P;th;C;Z;,few vowels.If you listen to the sounds that cat's make,carefully,you'll get the cat to come when you call in future.

naming a cat should be something you really think about. Try making up a name for his personality or his coat pattern. Or if you find a name that you really like, just name him that. That's what I always do and don't worry, he will eventually come to that name even if they don't at first.

go to babynames.com and look up names for a certain meaning. i like doing that to find names for my cats. I just named one cat Keiji which means 'lead cautiously', which is exactly what he does... he's so very cautious.
