When my man was cooking the other day, he clawed his way out out my arms and ran for the oven. He jumped on the oven door and burned his pas. Now the bottom of his feet are burned and blistering. I'm worried they could get infected because of the cat box.

I haven't taken him to the vet yet because I just noticed today. They were fine yesterday and when it happened. I thought everything was fine, so don't get high and mighty on me when you have no idea what you are talking about. Also, maybe you should do some research, it's the ASPCA, not SPCa, you Fu*king idiot.

Much as i hate to say it some answers are the best option .. even after treating your cat for severe burns there will be psychological effects left on the cat and the cat will need constant care and supervision as there might be nerves injured in the process .. even after a vet's treatments now i'm assuming that you and your man are a working couple so the most humane thing to do is to find your cat a home where someone will be able to care for him .. let the vet advise of a good home where you can at least still make visits to your cat! just keep this thought in mind ' Cats paws are what they land on when they fall imagine the pain he is going to suffer at each landing when there is nobody there to catch him '
good luck!

Poor kitty! I agree with the others, take him to the vet. They are best equipped to check him out. If you can't afford a vet, try the local Humane society for a low-cost treatment facility.
When my kitten damaged his du-claw, the vet gave us some anti-septic wash; we soaked the paw for 4-5 minutes once a day in a mix of warm water & the medication - and that helped prevent infection. It also helped keep the wound clean (it got the litter bits out, too).
In this case, the vet will likely give your kitty a shot of antibiotics to boost his immune system, as well as any type of cleaning agent.
Kitty will probably remove any bandages, so the most important thing to keep an eye on the paws- watch for signs of healing and of infection. You 'll want to keep him inside, too, until he is healed (assuming he goes out now).
Good luck!

YES, take him to the vet NOW! His paws are probably infected, and the vet will need to give you special ointment or antibiotics for your kitty's paws, and probably some wraps or booties to keep on him until they heal up. It won't be very expensive either, but make sure you do it ASAP, if it gets worse and infection sets in, you can have a very sick cat very fast.

Oh yes, vet please! Or if finances are such that this is problematic, at least give the vet a call and get advice. Sometimes, if you have a regular vet that will work with you, they will be happy to do this.
You are right to be concerned about the litter, too. When surgery recovery is going on, I believe one thing done is to use a disinfected box with shredded paper towels and change and disinfect it several times a day.
But please at least call the vet.

OMG!! TAKE the poor cat to the VET already!
How would you like it if it was the other way around and your feet were burned and blistered and no one took you to the doctor. That is cruelty to animals.

Try applying Elizabeth Arden"s 8 hour cream which you can get at any major department store in the cosmetic dept. Many years ago Elizabeth Arden created this cream to treat the huffs of her horses after a fire. This cream will heal the paws but at the same time it will sooth them, I know from experience and it works to treat so many other aliments, hope it helps

YOU MUST TAKE HIM TO THE VET! It may be expensive but that is the cost of having an animal. He could end up much worse if not treated. That is the ONLY option.

They probably won't get infected. Cats are pretty resilient animals.
Anything you put on (neosporin, what not) he will probably lick it off.
Change litter box friquently for now. Take to the vet at the first sign of infecton.
