Wow, there is so much!!

The links below should be of help.

The Oregon Zoo is one of the premiere zoo's in the U.S. If you like zoo's, its a must see. Adult fare is $9.50.

The Japanese Gardens and the Rose Garden are also wonderful to visit, and you can combine the visit to them with a trip to the zoo if you want, by taking the zoo train and getting off at the gardens, then taking it back to the zoo. Train costs $2.80, Rose Gardens are free, Japanese Gardens are $8.

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is also a must see. While much of it is aimed at school aged kids, it's a delight for adults as well .. it's designed that way ... for the kid in all of us.

The downtown area is wonderful to just walk around in, especially the areas around the train/bus station, where there are cobblestone streets and such. Also Pioneer Square area.

The Lloyd Center is a large mall with movie theaters and an ice rink, and a cool atmosphere.

If you go in the wintertime and like sports, there are a lot of colleges that have some pretty good basketball teams. University of Portland, Portland State, and my favorite Warner Pacific. Lots of entertainment, not much $$!
