You see there is this guy who is my friend and he doesnt date out of his race he's a traditional mexi how do i convince him that interacial dating is a wonderful experience?

he's not racist because he's friends with lots of people that are black white,etc.

DON'T!!! Trust me, been there and done that!! Please do not waste your time. You will only put yourself through grief. Having interracial friends has nothing to do with dating and marriage/family life. I dated a Mexican for 2 years before he called the relationship off. It was for the same reason, He didn't want to get married to a Black girl because he was afraid of his kids being Black etc... He told me the truth and said that he wanted to stay in his race.. I was devasted and angry, I thought just as you did. But when it comes to tradition and family and race, leave it be and find someone who is open-minded and doesn't have racial issues.

i wouldn't push the issue he's the one that has to be attracted enough to want to be with the person.
I know i can look at a person and say hey that's a good looking guy but the idea of even trying to be with someone outside my race doesn't really turn me on. i don't know why maybe it's because i know my family wouldn't approve of it and i don't want to have to pick one or the other. i'm not saying its right but i do prefer everyone gets along rather than a constant edgyness

I would tease him to the brink- and right before he thinks you're going to go the extra inch or mile or whatever it is you ladies call it, you can sigh and say,"oh I forgot you can't you have to stick with your spots/stripes(say whatever sounds good) and then saunter away "isn't that a shame." and if that doesn't do it, then don't waste your time with that weak conformist. Move the hell on! there's 6 billion ppl on this planet; there's somebody better than him. you can come my way if you like! haha
