They are mutts. Purebred clubs usually have clauses in their ethics to prevent this type of cross breeding, so right off that bat, you have to wonder about the ethics of designer dog breeders.

Yeah they are mutts. People put 2 breeds together, come up with a cutsey name and charge big bucks.

Yeah, They typically pug/beagle mixes, chihuahau mixes, beagle mixes....

People are breeding two small dogs togather and getting 'cute little accessories'

Yes they are mutts but there are actually pet registries for them, which makes no sense to me at all.
