Hah, ha, hahhhh. What about an octopus! Do you really believe that people of old knew how to cook, I mean there must have been some kind of an epidemic amongst the ancient tribes, and they surely needed someone who needed to tell them, how to confirm the good food from bad food, knowing they were not hygienic, knew nothing about infections from insects, didn't had a refridgerator and any idea on bacteria.
So Hell it was for the victims. Come on!

HELL COMES FROM THE HEBREW WORD ((SHEOL )) IN THE OT AND THE GREEK WORD ((HADES )) IN THE NT BOTH SIMPLY MEAN THE (( GRAVE ))
AND THERE IS AN END TO HELL. AND THE LAKE OF FIRE IS NOT HELL BUT WHAT IS CALLED THE SECOND DEATH IN WHICH THOSE WHO DON'T ACCEPT GOD WILL BE BURNED TO ASHES INTO NONEXISTENCE.
Re 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Re 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Re 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRIST. HE WAS NOT LEFT IN HELL BECAUSE HE WAS RESURRECTED AND HE DID NOT SEE CORRUPTION OR WHAT WE CALL DECAY BECAUSE HE WAS IN HELL OR (( THE GRAVE )) FOR ONLY 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS.
Ac 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

That's not true because God forgives. In the New Testament God gave Peter a vision where there were all these forbidden foods for the Jews to eat. God told Peter to eat them because everything he made is clean. And so now God let's us eat any food because he made them clean. Also the vision was to show Peter that not only the Jews can be God's children, but all nations. Because God can make them clean through his blood he shed!

Leviticus 11;10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.

12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
A primitive root; to be filthy, that is, (intensively) to loathe, pollute: - abhor, make abominable, have in abomination, detest, X utterly.

What you just said is a lie. We are not to eat such things, but we are also forgiven for our sins if we repent of them and correct our sinful ways and follow what God instructs us to do. You will not go to hell for eating those things. They are unclean food. They are scavengers. .

Did you know that when the Bible was written 2000 years ago, no one had refrigerators, and it was dangerous to eat those types of foods because they contained bacteria that when it was injested, could result in fatal illnesses? (Usually experiencing high fevers and hallucinations preceeding death).

The Bible is an excellent resource, however, it needs to be read within the context of its time period.

It's 2006 now, and there is no reason why you shouldn't eat those foods, we are fully aware of the dangers of undercooked seafood, and bacteria-borne diseases. Cheers! You can now enjoy seafood in good faith! (I like to avoid raw oysters for health reasons... undercooked seafood... icky!)

Wrong again. We are not under the law of Moses. We are under grace now. Plus 1Timothy 4:4 says that every creature of God is good and nothing is to be refused

This doesn't apply anymore. That was from a covenant that has been fullfilled.

In other words: This is a rule that was part of a deal, a deal that's been completed. So since the deal is completed, we don't need to follow its rules.
