Well as it turns out Lucifer is a Greek name to one of their Gods. not a major one, but I believe he was a God of wine and poetry. he's not well known, but is depicted young and of course curly-haired and strapplingly built. Sorry I can't remember where the source came from, trying putting it into a search engine..Lucifer of Ancient Greece. As for Satan, well that description of stories and otherwise varies from place to place. In my opinion the only Devil there is is humans destroying, killing and in other tools of hatred. After all the descriptions of the Devil is yet another God. A Celt God called Herne the Hunter. He looked after children and with his helpers told of when a death would come to a family. He is also the husband and sometimes known as the son of the main Celtic Goddess, Briginatie, who is also known as Mother Earth. Herne has also morphed into Robin Hood and Santa Claus as wel as the Devil. At wedding cermonies the men would dawn a head-dress of antlers and wear a robe of leaves. The women would wear blue may flowers and a robe of leaves and they would be the god and goddess of the Celtic world. Early Christians to assimilate the Celts tried to use the Celtic gods as deamons or bringers of good to draw the celtic peoples into the fold of Christianity. It didn't work for the longest time. People still worshipped the old gods and kept record of the old customs before it was swallowed up in hallmark holidays.

Satan used to be named Lucifer when he was still an angel.

Lucifer saw God and wanted to become God. One out of every three angels followed Lucifer and his sin. They were kicked out of Heaven and were cast into Hell.

This happened before God made humans.

So you see Satan basically said "I'm too good to bow to God. In fact, I'm God." So God and the rest of the angels that didn't follow Satan kicked him out of Heaven.

Lucifer is our brother, kicked out of heaven for rebellion against God and against Christs plan to save us all. He wanted everyone to come back to God, without the option of agency, and he would get all the glory, not God. 1/3 of the hosts of heaven joined him. They are souls that will never have bodies. They tempt us- they know how, they knew our souls before we came to earth, so they know what our weaknesses are. They tell lies mingled with truth so we won't see it for what it really is. Right now, Lucifer has the power here. He will use everything he can think of to get as many people as he can to follow him. He is mad at God for kicking him out of his presence, and he wants others to suffer for his mistakes. We have power over him, we can choose to follow him, or not. We can choose to live our lives as Christ would have us live. That is our victory over him. The fact that we have bodies makes him so mad. He will never have one, he gave up his chance. Nothing would make him happier then to see everyone of us not make it to heaven.

It is actually suppose to spelled Saturn. It is where we get Saturday.
He was a King a long time ago. He held a party and during a drunken attempt to be funny he wore some sheepskin chaps and put a bulls skull on his head. (lamp shades weren't invented yet)

i know that he was god's right hand & started a war with god over the fact that god chose us over the angels. so he & his followers were cast from heaven. he was also called the "light of god" because he was the most beautiful angel. his ugliness is all on the inside, just like most humans on earth

He's jolly, has eight reindeer, rides a flying sleigh, employs elves, loves cookies, and jiggles like jelly when he laughs...

...oh...Satan...in that case not a whole lot.

I know that he doesn't exist. He was created by early humanity to explain away such things as famines, disease, death, pestilence and natural disasters until science evolved enough to explain these events.
