Humanity progresses when people work for a better future without holding grudges or pointing fingers. We must also realize that there is no such thing as an absolute truth or any clear cut line between good and bad, no matter what the president says. Look at yourself before you judge anyone else.

They wont. They have to be defeated, not won over. Humanity progresses despite the fundies, not with them.

Humanity left in a state without God and His morality will self-destruct. Take a look at the pagan societies, they progressively develop more crime, more of the social ills that plague society (prostitution, rape, incest, etc) and eventually to a point of moral anarchy. The Spirit of God working through His church is the stabalizing factor.

Sadly they won't. They are ruining democracy in this country, slowing medical research progress, ruining the environment, teaching hate and bigotry to our children, destroying international relationships and doing it with and smile. It is hard for people who don't believe in the possibility of evolution to evolve.

The dumbdamentalists? Who knows. There seems to be some kind of massive psychotic hypnosis in play there. It reminds me of the Jonestown cult. They are afraid to think about anything except for Jesus, God or Allah for even a second. It's scary. If there is a God, which I believe there is, I can't imagine he/she would value their destructive hate-filled theories and actions.
