....swap around the colours of Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar? I can think of no sensible reason why they would. I know it's been a while - but I still get confused.

Well, the S&V are now green, while the C&O are blue. It just ain't right.

Sorry, Flipper Girl. Maybe I'm just a bit older than you - until Walkers came along C&O were always in a green packet. Other brands, and shops own, still use the right colours. It's only Walkers that don't - check it out next time you're in the supermarket!

I don't remember a time Walkers salt and vinegar was not green and cheese and onion were not blue.
I have put in a link which shows a packet from the 80's of salt and vinegar and they are green on that.

I know McCoys and Golden wonder do green pkts of cheese and onion and blue pkts of salt and vinegar.

What? S&V have been in a green pack since as long as I can remember! As far as I am aware they ain't changed them, and my old man was a newsagent and sold them for the last 40 yrs.

Did they temp swap them to Blue and then change them back?

To confuse you and sell more crisps when you buy the wrong sort and have to buy another pack because you picked up and opened the wrong flavour.
