Here's some (but by no means all) of what I believe:-
I believe that the world is actually flawed, in accordance with the Gnostic world view. I also believe in Discordianism.
Gnosticism, a heresy which actually predates Judaism, has at its core faith that the world is an imperfect thing of fallen matter and fallen creatures and fallen beings, all flawed and imperfect.
The faith states that the world was created, not by God, but by Ialdabaoth, the Demiurge - a cruel, jealous and vengeful false deity whose reign is marked by cruelty. The heresy states that it is Ialdabaoth whom people worship when they bend the knee to "God", and not the genuine Creator whose creations included the Demiurge.
Other religions have other creation myths. I prefer the creation myths of Discordianism and the Cthulhu Mythos. They might not be any more provable than Genesis, but at least the Discordian one makes more sense. Sometimes. :)
You might note that I have put a hella lot more Discordian links than Gnostic links. Point being, once you've gone through all the heavy Gnostic stuff ... you'll want a laugh more than ever.

You're on the right track, and our little planet would be a lot happier if it wasn't for religion which is really just evil in disguise.
Religion is responsible for the majority of wars, conflict and murder of innocent life since humanity began. There is considerable evidence to classify religion as evil, and talk of religion (Gods etc) should be banned. Because the records prove over and over again throughout humanity that religion is clearly responsible for crimes against humanity, taking part in any religious activity should also be outlawed and made a criminal offence.
The world would be a much happier and peaceful place if religion ceased to exist. Although there are some decent religious believers and preachers, they are unwittingly spreading evil around our world, and that they should simply keep their beliefs and thoughts to themselves in the best interests of humanity, or suffer the consequences for their actions.
People should consider that the world would be like Heaven if religion ceased to exist, but all the believers and preachers have turned the planet into Hell.

or inherently flawed. Check out the law of entropy: "a system will almost always be found either in the state of maximum disorder or moving towards it."
Sounds like your perfect world doesn't it
And no, religion is not the cause, it was set in the fundementals of nature.
But yes, I do believe that they are perfect in that they are planned. I believe that the way the world is today is to show thick-headed man that he can't solve his own problems without God's help.

I believe the world is imperfect, because, according to the Bible, the world ceased to be perfect when Adam and Eve sinned against God. The only way the world will return to its original perfect state is after the Rapture and the Tribulation when God ultimately defeats Satan and creates a new Heaven and a new Earth.

BongyDude: INHERENTLY perfect is my focus: No it isn't. The World you see through human eyes is not inherently perfect. There's a difference. Inherently means: unable to be considered separate from its basic self or nature. But, you see, your nature is God's. Is He what you see in this world?
Your EXPERIENCES - are from the human EGO mind. THE Mind you possess called soul or spirit, according to your own tradition, is innately God's nature. It's different.
Let us approach this together:
The experience of this world - disasters, natural wonders, etc., is chaotic. To the senses. No one will tell you this is perfection.
The peace lies herein: There is a deep order of things beyond our eyesight and sensory perceptions. This order of things is at work, with or without your personal experience of it - at all times. You can be taught to know of it and then you begin to experience it.
In your experience of it, you finally come to a place of such peace and trust - you can walk through anything - without care.
In this - your experience of beauty and wonders is heightened to scenes so beautiful your sensory perceptions of it are intoxicated by it.
But, before you come to experience this - you first must know of your innate attributes and qualities that cause this deep order of all things:
Behind everything is the Mind. It's powers are of the Creator/Father. It is fashioned in His own Likeness. Spirit-Mind. Because His Power flows through His Children's thoughts - the One Mind - those thoughts are extradordinary in their Energy. Collectively, we author what we do not wish to admit to - through the human EGO mind - we deny the Power of our Beings.
Perfection includes the Plan - instituted by the Creator upon the Separation. This took place in Eternity within Mind - not a Garden of Eden!
Spirit is Eternal, like the Father. Therefore, your absolute safety is upheld by the Force that created you. You cannot be lost to Him or to your Self (but for the demonization of your Mind). This means what human eyes see is not valid. For the human EGO mind is a mind being used as substitution. Thank you God! Your Comfort and Peace are for the asking. . .if you will ask. And if you are truly open and unblocked to receiving.
This world is imperfect in human experiences. Separate from your inherently perfect Self. But your innate-ness can be tapped. It can produce - and does - a deep order that underlies everything you look upon.
I hope some of these lines are profitable toward your Contemplation.

The world is imperfect. What if I moved a grain of sand and inch to the right? Would that affect the outcome of humanity? I don't think so.

The world is perfect. There would be no rich if it was not for the poor. There would be no happiness if it was not for sadness. There would be no kindness if there was no cruelty. There would be no peace if there was no war. There would be no death if there was no birth and so on and on and on....................There would be no answers if there were no questions. The work of God is perfect.

Everything is perfect nature and science, even 'man made' things. If ants developed computers and Windows XP, we'd think of that as nature.
I'm too tired to know if I answered your question.
