Ask yourself this: how does it feel when your coworkers do the same and put you in that bind? Unless you have something to do that can't wait, an emergency or some other drastic reason why you can't keep your commitment to work, I'd say go on in. You have to do it, and Monday will just be waiting for you...as usual.
