let it go before you get more grief

Sorry, but this happens so often, that it's not even funny.

Get used to the fact that it's probably over. Once you concede that, then you can approach things from a more objective viewpoint. Unless she said she wanted to stay with you, etc. it's pretty much done. And even if she did want to stay with you. Over 80% of the ones that say that, don't. So at least this way, you're free to find newer relationships too!

Be happy man, college is awesome!

I would let it go, don't stress over it. She's gonna do what she wants regardless. When you go off to college it's a whole new experience, every person needs that, whether it's going away or even to a J.C. You meet so many new people and gain new friends. Let her go, it sucks and is hard, but try not to worry yourself, you'll just cause more heartache. Tell her how you feel and if you get the same response, she's not on the same page as you. You shouldn't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you.

It's a big thing going to uni, and having a relationship already could make things complicated. Maybe she just wants to start this new chapter of her life completely afresh, and would have said that even if she had somebody else as a boyfriend. So please don't get worried that it's somehow your fault! It may be difficult now but I'm sure you two can still be friends.

As hard as it seems i think your going to have to let her go, at least she was honest enough to tell you that she wanted to be free and single

and i'm sure this isnt exactly what you want to hear, but i think youll have to face up to it.... i wish i could say it could work out - and you never know it might do.... the feelings you have for her im afraid are gunna have to go to someone else - it almost sounds like she doesnt care that shes leaving you to be quite honest <<< but i might be wrong

I don't think you have to worry about her saying anything more than she already has. She already told you she "wants to be free and single". And obviously, that's what she means. There is no more room for conversation. There is no more she can tell you that she alrady hasn't. Not the answer you wanted, I know, but I'm only calling it as I see it! Sorry!!!

Sorry to break this to you really, but she is nicely trying to let you go. Maybe she does not feel the same way about you as you do about her. It may hurt, but if this is so, you can't make someone care. She is doing you a favor, it's just not apparent now.
Try and see it that way, and go on.

if you don't say something now,... you're gonna lose her forever.

she will meet some stud with a wealthy daddy and they're gonna have a litter of little ankle biters, by the time you get to see her again.

What do you want to do? then do it or get over it. Grow UP - geeezus!!!

find someone else but don't make it serious until you tell the first girl how you feel if she rejects you have someone to fall back on and when you tell her about your break-up you'll have her rapped around your finger (the second girl) you'll win either way

She wants to be free to bang. Get over it. Tell her how you feel. THen tell her you understand how she feels. Then ask her if she has any friends you can bang while she is gone.
