I was raised Lutheran and that was the "proof" the pastor always gave. Lame, huh?

I think this is what they mean. You walk into a brilliant piece of architecture and come to the conclusion that it had a designer and a builder. You look at a painting and assume that someone with a mind painted it.
Then people look at the human form, the stars and planets, animal and plant life and make the conclusion that these much more spectacular and complex pieces of art, architecture, science, et cettra and say that there is no architect, no builder, and no artist.
The simplest answer is usually the right one. Has anyone purported that it took millions of positive mutations in order for a building to come into existence? Of course not, that is utter nonsense! It would have taken a greater amount of miraculous events to bring everything that exists into existence by chance rather than by a Creator. Personally, my faith is not that grand that it can grab ahold of the concept of everything coming into existence by happenstance.

If you really need proof, then there would be no need for faith to play a role. I don't have some cosmic answer, no one would be able to give that to you. The best you can hope for is mystical mumbo jumbo. You are unwilling to see any proof at all, that is your problem.

Only God can produce a miracle. Perfect mix of air and water and land mixed with the right amount of gravitational pull, distance from the sun; technological and medical discoveries occurring everyday by men and women who have been given a brain to think things through and theorize, test, and prove; internal organs that work in perfect synchronization in a healthy person or animal; ...and this all just a case of accident?!?!?!?!?

Hey...if you want proof...I would love to help you out here. Tonight, I'll spend a lot of time praying that God will give you proof of His existence. I have faith that He will as long as you can pay attention. God bless. :)

That's easy, let's see you or any one else make a tree from nothing but shear energy, no seed, no nothing, just energy.
Ok I'll settle for a blade of grass.

Because they don't have any real proof, and if they really start looking, they will start doubting their fairy tale.
