Our innocent children are subjected to so much abuse.
Religion today, irrespective of which religion you belong to, is such a disgrace and a sad reflection on humanity, surely there must be a way to convince our children to walk away from this man-made nonsense and look for a better way.
History and statistics clearly show that religion has miserably failed humanity, and in fact, it’s as close to evil as anyone could imagine. Religion hurts everyone who unfortunately stumbles in its path, especially the minds of young innocent children.
Surely there must be a better way than religion. Humanity has made great progress technologically, surely we at least owe it to our children to find a better answer than religion, and more importantly, do it quickly before we permanently stuff up our world. Our children deserve better.
It’s a statistical fact that the higher your education, income, and intelligence, the more likely you are not to believe in a god. For every college student that converts to a religious belief system, 17 college students convert to atheist beliefs.
Atheists have an average intelligence of 25 IQ points above their Christian counterparts. It’s no wonder why the USA (75% Christian) is so arrogant, aggressive or violent towards others in this world.

This is for fearaphobia: the writer of the question did not say anything to warrant your abuse and vulgarity. It is because God has been taken out of our schools that the system is in the shape it is in now. Where the Holy Spirit is not welcomed, He will not stay....and without God there is nothing to bad for man to do. We see that everyday. Students everywhere know the real danger of losing their lives at school, on the grounds. We are no longer one nation under God. I believe, and it is only my belief that as a nation we have asked God to bow out and leave us alone, and children, He is doing just that. It is so evident that even a blind person can see in their spiritual senses the demons that are roaming free.

The first 3 commandments are quite offensive to nonbelievers. The government should not be endorsing those three commandments in any way, shape or form. Historical references to the commandments are fine but anything where it seems like the government or public schools are putting forth the first three commandments or suggesting it should apply to citizens or children is a clear violation of the establishment clause.
References to God on money are quaint and kind of dumb in my opinion. Money is money, the fact that it has the word god on it doesn't make it any less valuable. Nothing about the phrase suggests that you have to believe in God to use the money. On a purely academic level, it seems like it was put on there to exclude nonbeleivers, but I don't feel threatened by it, because I don't think that religious people use the phrase "in god we trust" to exclude non-religious people.
The fact that most people want me to pledge allegiance to GOD in order to pledge allegiance to my country does bother me a little, however. It specifically excludes a certain percent of the population from being able to pledge allegiance to their country. The fact that religious people want and insist on this is a little sickening, I certainly feel like in their vision of America, my family is not welcome.

as for prayer being taken out of school, ask the people running them what has happened since then. Straight downhill, straight fast.
However if you trust in God, you don't need money there fore is it wrong to have that on money?
the ten commandments are laws that every natural person can follow if you treat others the way you want to be treated.
the question comes in the reprimand for breaking the law, and how we handle it.

In Jesus' day, the coinage had Caesar's picture on it. Jesus said to give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. I take God with me everywhere I go, whether there are props or not. I like having the 10 commandments in public, but if they are removed I will keep on following them. As for schools, they have not removed all gods, only the Christian God.

I personally think its a good thing.
A modern, Democratic nation cannot be anything but Secular. Secularisation is the fairest way to run a country, religion just creates hatred and division
Besides, i dont believe in God. Why should i have your 'lord' on my damn money? Why not Darwin on one side, Jesus on the other?

First, if you want people to take your question seriously (as it's a valid question) don't write all in caps. I think that it doesn't matter, ultimately, because those who care about it have probably already 'thought about it', and if it doesn't matter to them, then I doubt taking the word "God" out of anything is going to make much of a difference.

A Crow will peck at it's own shadow until it breaks it's beek and then starves to death ... as that seems to be the way the Republicans are taking us, why not place the Bald Eagle in a greater place of honor and impliment the Crow as our National Bird?

Religion gives people a moral compass, as you can see now days, with people denying god, the morality of the country has gone down the tubes.
