I am very upset with this. to me the more they take away ( GOD) the worse the world gets. I am a Christian. Im not religious, cause you can be religious about anything. I belived that with out GOD we are nothing and Thru GOD all things can and will. We have to stand up and fight for what we beliven in cause no one is going to do it for us. Majority of the laws we have are based on spiritual beleifs. with out it things would be chaotic, and just based on the majority of society.

I can take it or leave it. I'm an atheist but it doesn't bother me to see the religious things around most of the society believes in it so why not. Its not like it is hurt me to have In God We Trust on my dollar. lol. I know what i believe. If they want to put the Buddha on it then by all means as long as it still works to buy things with then what ever. sorry i wasn't much help. And I don't mind saying the pledge of allegiance even though i have to say under god sometimes when i was saying it in school i just skipped saying that part. Most all religions believe in A God of some type they should just insert there image in there minds when reading or saying these things. And as for the ten commandments I think they are very good rules to follow, christian or not.

I do know one thing if it wasn't for the belief in God a lot of wars would not be existing and the World trade towers would still be there. that's just what i see. So many wars start in the name of God. I thought He didn't like his children murdered, isn't that a sin?

Religion has no place in public schools. "In God we trust" really should not appear on any U.S. coins or currency. The Ten Commandments are fine, but should not be a part of any public school's curriculum. The Ten Commandments are actually a guide to virtuous living and to perpetuating a peaceful society; they would apply to any of the world's major religions, and to most of the minor ones.

No, with the aid of fact this could be a lie like Santa Claus. college is a chore, and in case you're no longer residing house-schooled, dealing with human beings's bratty, egocentric, mean @$$hollow young ones on a each and every day/weekly foundation is greater stressful than being an grownup. I say this as a mom of two college-elderly young ones.

If God was taken out of things in the US, the US would not exist for long after. It would be the first step of a down-hill run in to a ravine.

Your god does not exist, just like all the others.

The only ones I think for my existence are my parents.

I don't care if the US currency has the phrase "in god we trust", but no religious material should be in public schools.

everyone believes in some god, so i don't think god should be taken out....oh wait, except for atheist...how about "in a higher power we trust"?

no matter what you believe, not everyone believes in god and you should not force your beliefs onto someone else......you wouldn't want someone to try to convince you that there was no god...you shouldn't try to convince someone that there is.....it wouldn't be very christian

Does not matter, it was not added until the fifties to combat comunism. It is a political irrelavancy.

i'm guessing if you dont believe in religion then this statement is redundant - "if it was not for him no one would be on earth now. "
