it is due to the fact that wireless networks work faster than cable networks. also if your ram is less it will take more time to transfer data between two PCs.

pc performance is not the real issue as it's sending over the internet and using your bandwidth. if you are using the same cable or dsl or modem line to send the attachment on these computers, then it must be that you have spyware or other things in the middle of transferring and using your bandwidth while you are sending out this attachment on this particular pc. use spyware/virus cleaner to check.

you probably have a slow internet connection.
a large file is probably considered 100MB (about 100,000KB)
A dial up connection send information at 56Kb/s. But usually it's only around 30Kb/s. So what is 100,000 divided by 30? About 3330. and 3330 seconds is about 55 minutes. If you had DSL, you could send files 3x faster, making it about 20 minutes. If you had cable, you could send the file about 2x faster, making it 10 minutes.
switch to cable if you can.

Most attachments get scanned on viruses, then there is the speed of your machine and the speed allowed on the connection.
A possible solution to bypass this is the use of programs like winzip or winrar to chop your attachments up in smaller bits. It prevents the occurence of bottlenecks on one side or another.

It depends on the internet connection. A faster internet will send e-mail faster. Ethernet plugs are faster than dial-up with phone lines. Broadband/DSL/Cable is faster than dial-up. They require ethernet ports.

How are you attaching it? In Outlook exhibit or by ability of ability of Yahoo or MSN? It shouldn't take any time to attach in Outlook exhibit regardless of if it is going to take a protracted time to deliver it. regardless of if, with Yahoo and MSN, the time it takes to characteristic the report would be important if the report is amazingly super. you mustn't attempt to deliver something this is over 2MB. regardless of if, as quickly as you have linked it, it is going to e mail out very promptly.
