You didn't mention how old you are, or your dad's age for that matter, so it's a little difficult to say. As we age, our priorities change.
My own father is 76, and loves it when I bring my family over to visit, and we can all sit down to a big dinner together. Just sitting and talking, reassures him that my life is going well, and that's what's important to HIM.
My son is 22, and what I enjoy are activities where I can pass on skills that I've acquired over the years. For example, my son can strip down and rebuild a PC. His own PC is one he assembled himself from parts.
The bottom line is, the specific activity is not nearly as important as the chance to have some one on one time. Just sitting and watching a baseball game can be a great time, if you take the opportunity to talk to each other.

Dad's are great, but some dads can't do stuff they don't like - no tolerance. You could watch a movie with him, take him out to PIzza Hut for dinner. Ask him to show you how to do something that he likes and watch him light up.
Maybe even go for a ride with him.

First try to talk to him. Only you know your father, you will get so many ideas if you try to talk to him. What are his likes, dislikes, favorite foods, hobbies....it's endless where a small conversation can take you! Once you have ideas then it's unlimmited as to what you and your dad can do!

Take him to a movie, or play video games with him. I always found that just spending time with your dad and showing him that you love him are the memories you make for a lifetime.
I hope this helps you!!!

Play golf (or learn), go fishing, bowling, tennis, camping, boating. Take a road trip to explore parts of the state where you live.

There are alot of things to do...play video games, sports, chess, board games, go to a game, shoot some pool, help him out with work, or simply learn something from him.

What does he like to do? That should be your starting point.
Some ideas: Go fishing, hunting, camping, a sporting event, car show...
